The sessions, to be chaired by Event editor Jeremy King, will focus on brand activation at festivals, virtual events and how to get on the pages of Event magazine and eventmagazine.co.uk.

Sharing their experience and advice on the brand activation seminar will be agencies Amplify, Capitalize, Iris Experience and RPM, focusing on their work for Kit Kat, Barcardi, PlayStation and Strongbow at festivals ranging from Glastonbury and V Festival to Isle of Wight and T in the Park.

The virtual events panel will be looking at what this type of event means for the live event arena and whether it enhances or detracts from the sector. The panel will include Virtual Ivent director Gavin Newman, Kohdspace chairman Terry Thorpe, Imagination digital strategist Tom Gray and Big Ideas Inc managing parter Hellen Beveridge.

The final session will feature King talking about what makes a news story, what the editorial team look for when creating a feature and how to use social media as a way of publicising your events.

Organised by F2F Events, the Event and Exhibiting Show will be taking place at the Business Design Centre from 15-16 July.
