EuroContactPool, launched this year at the International Direct Marketing Fair in London, offers online access to contact data on 14m companies and 12m executives through its online self service database, targeting multinational B2B companies that use direct marketing to recruit new customers.
Hakan Axelsson, sales director for EuroContactPool, said: "We offer these companies a fast and easy way of compiling targeted pan-European mailing and telemarketing lists and we can also help them clean and enhance their existing European customer data."
A secondary target group for EuroContactPool are list brokers and DM agencies involved in European direct marketing projects.
Graydon and EuroContactPool, which is owned by Swedish database company Infodata, will work together to increase the availability of commercial contacts and direct marketing databases that can be accessed instantly online worldwide.
Gordon Skaljak, marketing director for Graydon in the UK, said: "This collaboration can be seen as a first step and we can expect more developments in the future. The initiative will ultimately enable companies wishing to trade on a pan-European basis to conduct their direct marketing campaigns more effectively and from one source. The information can also be used for market research and a wide variety of other business uses."
In addition to direct marketing data, EuroContactPool will also provide access to credit rating reports and official company profiles for a more in-depth analysis of sales prospects.
The credit reports will be compiled by Eurogate, a network organisation of Europe's leading credit reference agencies including Graydon and Coface SCRL of France.
The official company information will be provided by the European Business Register, a network organisation for the official national business registers in 15 European countries, including Companies House in the UK.
