EuroContactPool adds Greece to 14m database

LONDON - EuroContactPool has added Greece to the list of countries covered by its pan-European business database, which now exceeds 14m contacts.

The company now believes that it is the number one European database player. Its 14m contacts are located within nine countries - Greece, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Sweden, and the UK.

EuroContactPool now supports almost 70% of the contactable European business market. Short-term expansion plans also include Denmark, Finland and Norway to provide full coverage of the Scandinavian region.

Users of the database EuroContact Pool.com, can compile their own integrated pan-European mailing or telemarketing list online.

They can combine different countries and apply a range of criteria which can differ from country to country. Criteria includes: executive function, business size, industry, number of employees and turnover.

Users can then download the final prospect list directly to their PC. The list has all the information needed to send out a direct mail communication, such as names, job titles and correct address formats.

EuroContactPool's sales director, Hakan Axelsson, says the database will be a major time-saver for direct marketers.

"In the past, compiling a pan-European database has been an extremely time-consuming and costly operation. By using EuroContactPool, direct marketers can compile a list from their own PC and mail to it within hours, confident that they are using data of the highest attainable quality," he said.
