EMB hires fastMAP for motor insurance task

LONDON - EMB, an insurance consultancy, has hired research experts CCB fastMAP to conduct a long-term tracking study of consumers' attitudes to buying motor insurance.

The research, conducted this month, will show if people's opinions have changed since a similar survey by fastMAP was run in December, and if so how.

Ian Liddicoat, EMB marketing sciences director, said that the information gleaned would add a key component to the work of the company’s team who generate pricing and business models for insurers, and would complement their research programmes.

He said: "The July EMB Quest will track the way in which people's views are changing during one of the most volatile financial periods in living memory."
