Elle launches branded shopping site through ShopStyle

LONDON - Fashion magazine Elle has teamed up with ShopStyle, the fashion and social shopping website, to launch its own branded shopping site.

The will allow consumers to search for high street, designer and beauty items by store, brand, style and size.

It will then report which stores stock the desired items and how many of them they have left.

Shoppers can also save a list of their favourite items to purchase later or share with friends via email.

Retail brands on the site include high-street names Miss Selfridge, French Connection and House of Fraser, as well as designer retailers including Net-A-Porter, Anya Hindmarch, Miu Miu and My Wardrobe.

Anna Jones, marketing and digital director of Hachette Filipacchi UK, said:  "We are very happy to be working in partnership with ShopStyle as their shopping tool is innovative and very easy to use.

"Once our users have been inspired by Elle's edit of the best high-street and catwalk looks, our new shopping tool will offer them a simple and fun way to buy what they like in a few simple steps."

ShopStyle officially launched in the UK this month, but has been available in the US since February 2007.

Andy Moss, general manager of ShopStyle, said: "We're very excited to be working with Elle magazine to offer its readers the chance to enjoy the ShopStyle experience.

"In the US, we've had incredible success by offering fashion-conscious shoppers one place to go for all their favourite shops and brands.
