Eastern Electrics Festival moves to Knebworth Park

Electronic music festival Eastern Electrics has found a new home for 2013, after it was almost forced to cancel last year when its original venue was scrapped.

The festival was planned to take place at Pride House on Clapham Common last August. When plans for the house were abandoned due to lack of funding, Eastern Electrics .

This year the festival will take place in Knebworth Park, Hertforshire, from 2-4 August, and has been extended to three days and two nights.

More than 100 global artists and rising talents in electronic music are set to appear, including Visionquest’s Seth Troxler, techno heavyweights Chris Liebing, Magda, Ellen Allien and Guy Gerber.

Eastern Electrics was launched in 2008 by club promoters Will Paterson and Rob Star, who ran three events a year under the brand before putting on its first festival.
