Taking place on 13 September, the company have said the event will be the first time members of the public have been allowed overnight access to the tallest building in western Europe.

Singletons will receive a tour of the night sky from members of the Royal Observatory, who are set to erect a powerful telescope on the open-air viewing gallery.

Soho restaurant Pizza Pilgrims will provide the supplies for a midnight feast, while presenters and performers from The London Literary Salon will recite poems on themes of sleep and darkness. Music community Sofar Sounds will provide an acoustic performance to wind down the night.

Guests will then drift off to sleep on sleeping mats provided by the Glam Camping Company, before being awoken to watch the sun rise over London and enjoy breakfast.

Tickets are priced at £99, with 130 places available. The dating site, which aims create a quality ‘how did you meet?’ anecdote for couples, has previously held a Twister game at the top of The Shard and hosted a ping-pong tournament on top of The O2 arena.
