Taking place in a warehouse in Shoreditch on 4 November, the event marks the first of a monthly joint venture between Doing Something and the Institute of Competitive Socialising, which has developed the golfing pop-up.
Singles will be paired off into mixed male and female groups to tackle the nine-hole Swingers course. After the golf has finished, guests will retire to one of the installation’s two clubhouses to enjoy a cocktail surrounded by 1920s-style décor until 1am. Street Food caterer Pizza Pilgrims will be supplying food for the occasion.
Swingers, which opened on 25 September, holds a three-month residency at Factory 7 near Liverpool Street. Other street food vendors based at the venue include When Mac Met Cheese, burger companies Butchies and Patty and Bun and fishfinger connoisseur Hix Fishdogs.
Doing Something is known for producing activity-based dating events, having previously and Twister game at The View from The Shard and a ping-pong tournament on top of The O2 Arena.
