Dinner and a Séance with Bompas & Parr
What is it?
Culinary rule-breaker Bompas & Parr is back, this time with a new spiritual concept. The group is hosting a dinner that will allow guests to interact with those who have travelled to the ‘other side’ at the Masonic Temple in the Andaz Liverpool Street hotel.
Working with renowned medium and illusionist Philipp Oberlohr, guests will be able to take part in a séance before tucking into a multi-course food and drink-paired menu provided by Bompas & Parr and the hotel’s 1901 restaurant.
When can I eat?
For one night only on 8 April.
No luck?
Ditch the séance and try one of the Andaz’ four restaurants: Miyako, George and Eastway are available alongside 1901.

Library presents Edible Stories
What is it?
Private members’ club Library is partnering with Edible Stories for a four-week pop-up inspired by West End shows. The culinary experience will pay tribute to Les Misérables, Charlie and the Chocolate, Matilda and The Phantom of the Opera, while each menu will be presented in comic book form by graphic novelist Neil Gibson.
Highlights from the pop-up will include a shape-shifting cocktail that will ‘illuminate the room’ from Matilda, and a French vermouth and Buffalo Trace induced mulled mint and sage bite, designed to transport guests to the barricades of Les Misérables.
When can I eat?
17–23 April for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, 24–30 April for Phantom of the Opera, 1–7 May for Les Misérables and 8–15 May for Matilda.
No luck?
Swap musicals for movies and head to Haggerston for Foodfellas – Feed Me Films’ screening of the Scorsese classic Goodfellas, complete with a five-course meal of Italian cuisine.
