Dating Direct hooks Daily Mail readers with Associated New Media deal

LONDON - People who fancy dating eligible, Daily Mail-reading bachelors and spinsters are in luck, with online dating agency DatingDirect.com signing an exclusive six-figure deal with Associated Newspapers' online arm, Associated New Media.

will provide white-labelled dating services to readers of the Daily Mail and the Evening Standard .

Daters can access DatingDirect.com's active database though the dailymail.co.uk and ThisisLondon.co.uk homepages to reach branded dating destinations.

The service will be free to browse and users pay a subscription to meet potential partners.

Mark Milner, chief operating officer at Associated New Media, said: "We believe that it's an essential service to offer readers of the Mail online and This is London, who we know from our research, are interested in searching online for their perfect partner. Dating Direct offers a comprehensive service which we can integrate seamlessly within both sites."

DatingDirect.com has more than 2m active members and provides exclusive dating services to brands including gm.tv, Channel4.com, ITV.com and Handbag.com.
