Connect will be a quarterly title with the first issue out on 24 September.
It aims to be a practical title with a lifestyle slant, targeting 30-something females seeking a relationship.
First issue content includes expert flirting tips from Dating Direct.com's relationship expert Rhonda Britten, a fly-on-the-wall insight into a first date and tips on writing a winning profile.
The magazine is being launched alongside Connect's dating site Connect-mag.com, a white-label service created and powered by DatingDirect.com.
Lynda Burgess, managing editor of Connect, said: "Online dating has gained a foothold with the mainstream consumer. It is a buoyant market that has taken off dramatically in the past few years."
Darren Richards, founder of DatingDirect.com, said: "The first dating publication of its kind, this magazine will satisfy a clear gap in the market."
The launch of the magazine and site will be backed by a targeted ad campaign across Future Publishing's entire portfolio and by point-of-sale promos.
Connect will cost £1.80 and has a launch print-run of 150,000.
