Located in the venue’s East Hall, the rink has been closed for the past nine months to undergo a £2.3m refurbishment to replace the old ice and chiller system and refurbish the entrance hall and changing rooms.
At 56m by 26m, it is now large enough to be used for competitive tournaments and events.
"We are delighted that after nine months and much anticipation, we are reopening the ice rink, which we know has been missed by our skaters," said Alexandra Palace managing director Rebecca Kane.
"The £2.3m investment means that our championship skaters can now compete on an international level," she added.
The show will also feature performances from synchronised skating champions Team Aura, The Haringey Ice Hockey Junior Team and the Palace Foundations – a team formed by the rink’s inhouse coach Becky Smith.
The rink will then open for its first public skating session at 8.00pm.
