Most read: Strip club ad that claims naked woman is 'best view in Croydon' is banned

A poster for a strip club featuring a naked woman that was displayed on the side of a van driven around South London , 北京赛车pk10's Omar Oakes reports.

Three people complained about the poster, all of whom told the ASA that the ad was offensive, sexist and degrading to women, while two of the complaints added that it was unsuitable for public display where children could see it.

WDV Talent Agency-London, on behalf of Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club, said they believed the imagery was firmly within the guidelines of the CAP Code and that it did not show breasts or genitalia.

When contacted by the ASA, Larry Flynt said the ad was targeted at industrial and business parks and the van drivers were told not to park near schools, nurseries or religious venues.

In its ruling, published this morning, the ASA said it was clear that the overall impression of the ad was sexual in tone and decided it was unsuitable for public display.

The ASA said: "When accompanied with the claim, ‘The best view in Croydon’, we considered the image presented the woman merely as a sexual object to be enjoyed at the whim of the club’s clientele.

Stop the presses: News Corp agrees to buy Unruly

in a deal that values the video ad tech company at up to £114 million, 北京赛车pk10's James Swift writes.

News Corp announced today that, subject to closing conditions, it had agreed to buy Unruly for £58 million cash upfront, and then a further sum, up to £56 million, based on its performance. The deal is expected to close before the end of September.

Unruly will operate as a separate business unit within News Corp, and will continue to be run by its three founders - co-chief executive officers Scott Button and Sarah Wood, and chief technology officer Matt Cooke. They will report to Rebekah Brooks, News UK’s chief executive.

Unruly was founded in 2006 and uses sharing data to predict if a film will go viral and ways to improve its chances of being viewed or shared.

It also offers in-feed mobile advertising technology, among other things.

In the coming months, News Corp’s businesses, which include Fox Sports and Harper Collins, will offer Unruly products to advertisers and agencies. Unruly will continue to work with its existing roster of clients.

Pepsi Max installation

Innovations: Dance in the rain, stay dry

It's wet today in London. Very wet. So this campaign by Pepsi Max caught our eye, which promises staying dry while dancing in the rain. At least under their installation at a Norwegian music festival.

The release explains how it works:

The installation consisted of a series of custom-built water printers, which dispensed a continuous recyclable stream of rain over a 50m squared stage. The printers were equipped with motion sensing technology designed to track the presence of people on the stage. Once someone was identified, the rain directly above would instantaneously stop whilst continuing to fall elsewhere, giving festivalgoers the impossible experience of dancing in the rain, without getting wet.

The PR tell us this has nothing to do with the . Looks remarkably similar to us, but we're probably just grumpy because we're about to get wet on our commute.
