Cridge is in discussions about taking on a network-level role that will give him responsibility for the global creative output of Isobar. In the UK Isobar's agencies include Glue, Deconstruct, Diffiniti and Marvellous Mobile.
The earliest that Cridge, who founded Glue in 1999, could step up to the newly created role would be in December when his three year earn-out from Aegis Group comes to an end.
Glue was acquired by Aegis Group in 2005 a deal worth nearly £15m in cash and assets. The move saw Glue become part of Aegis Group's global digital media network Isobar.
Cridge insists he will continue his role as chief executive of Glue for the foreseeable future. ‘I am categorically not leaving Glue,' he told Revolution.
Last month, Bacardi's global digital chief Ian James joined Isobar as vice-president of client services, completing a series of senior management changes at the digital outfit.
Isobar also promoted Fiona Lloyd, client services director in Aegis agency Carat's global management team, to the role of vice-president of programme management. Simon Tait has been promoted to new business director from Aegis Media division ACT, where he was director of digital.
