The three-year contract means Alchemetrics will develop a new marketing database, bringing together data on members of ECB and first-class county cricket clubs, ticket purchasers and fans of the game into a usable central resource.
The ECB will use the database to drive customer and fan communications and to build loyalty.
Francis Wallinger, managing director of Alchemetrics, said: "England and Wales Cricket Board's investment in a central customer database will be instrumental in allowing it to connect with its members and the wider cricketing community, especially with new investment into the game."
Will Collinson, marketing and new media manager at England and Wales Cricket Board, said: "The ECB sees the effective management of data as a key element of our new fans services offering - TwelfthMan.
"In an increasingly cluttered sporting and entertainment environment, the expertise and knowledge we've received from Alchemetrics has proven invaluable in the implementation of a customised communications strategy."
The ECB is the national governing body for cricket in England and Wales, with its headquarters at Lord's in London.
