Coors heads to the Rockies for 'Hear me now' drive

LONDON - Coors has returned to Colorado's Rocky Mountains to push Coors Light beer in its latest ad campaign from Leith Agency.

The is set in the ice-cold surroundings of the Rocky Mountains and features two geeky guys and their female friend.

The two men become inspired by the light taste of the beer, and burst into a comedy rap.

The ad breaks on May 30 and will air for eight weeks, supported by a £3m integrated marketing campaign.

It is the second Coors Light TV ad to air since the brand launched in 2007, supporting its growth in the UK market, and is designed to appeal to both male and female drinkers who want a lighter more refreshing taste.

The digital element of the campaign includes a Flash , featuring a Coors Light Loves blog, and a partnership with MySpace to allow the ad's stars to talk to their fans.

Coors Light promotions will also be running throughout the summer at leading retailers, including Asda, Sainsbury's, Morrisons and the Co-op.
