The apps, priced at £5.99, will cover Rome, Barcelona, New York and Paris.
They will be the first in a series of city-based apps for the monthly title and will be available from the iTunes App store.
The apps include specially commissioned editorial, as well as free updates four times a year, which will include details of new restaurants, galleries and bar openings.
The apps also feature GPS, audio tours guiding consumers to editors' favourite venues, a selection of Condé Nast Traveller's most recently published articles on the chosen city, and more than 500 searchable listings for eating and drinking, as well as city activities reviewed by local editors.
Emanuela Pignataro, country manager for Condé Nast Digital Britain, said: "We’re delighted to enter the UK market with our specially purposed guides, offering editorial uniquely commissioned for these City Guide Apps.
"Reflecting the brand values of the magazine, this is a natural extension for audiences that are connected, media savvy and want to arrive in a city armed with all the knowledge they need to make the most of their time there, as if they were a local."
