Condé Nast Digital in restructure as Pignataro leaves

Condé Nast is restructuring its digital business, as UK country manager Emanuela Pignataro retires from the company after three years.

Pignataro has been replaced by Condé Nast Digital publisher Jamie Jouning, who will look at restructuring the digital arm of the publisher of Glamour, Wired, Vogue and GQ.

Jouning will take over Pignataro’s responsibilities as head of the digital business, but will become digital director and not country manager. There will no longer be a publisher or UK country manager.

Pignataro was due to return from maternity leave this month, but decided to move back to her native Italy instead.

She joined Condé Nast Digital in 2008 as strategy director of CondeNet International, from Microsoft, where she was EMEA marcomms director. .

. He was previously the publisher of Wired and associate publisher of GQ.
