Companies House in online forms drive through Agency Inc

LONDON – Companies House is readying a campaign to persuade businesses to abandon paper-based forms in favour of using its WebFiling online system.

Agency Inc has developed a direct mail, digital and press campaign, breaking at the end of the month, to tell accountants and SMEs that paper forms are a thing of the past.

The agency found an origami expert to turn some of Companies House most familiar forms into dinosaurs such as Tyrannosaurus rex.

In the digital work, animation shows the paper forms transforming into a Triceratops, which then keels over and is crushed by a computer screen.

The dinosaurs also feature in the direct mail marketing material, which encourages recipients to "evolve" to use WebFiling. They are pictured on the envelope with the strapline: "Big. Dumb. Slow. It's time to finish them off."

Companies House is the official government register of UK companies, listing details of more than 2m limited businesses.
