Climate change ad accuses Bill of having no balls

LONDON - Stop Climate Chaos, the climate change coalition, is releasing a humorous cinema and viral ad called 'this Bill's got no balls' as part of its 'I Count' campaign to show how the UK government's proposed climate change bill lacks environmental muscle.

The , which is being released online and shown at Everyman Media Group cinemas, encourages viewers to visit the and put pressure on their local MPs to make sure the government enacts a bill "with balls" that will avoid climate chaos.

Produced by Hotdog and Mustard Films, the ad features three scenarios where a character called "Bill" confronts situations on the football pitch, office and street which clearly show that he is lacking balls.

Matt Horne, star of BBC Three comedy 'Gavin and Stacey', has provided the voiceover for the campaign. He said: "This climate change bill needs balls if we're ever going to tackle (pardon the pun) climate change. I will be putting the squeeze on my MP to make sure we have a tough bill. You should too, so why don't you? Visit ."

Ashok Sinha, director of the I Count campaign, said: "We hope it reaches the parts other climate change campaigns might not reach and ensure the bill's carbon emission reduction target is set at least 80% for 2050 and not the proposed 60% which is based on outdated science."

The Stop Climate Chaos coalition brings together over 70 organisations from environment and development charities to unions, faith and women's groups.
