'Celebrity Love Island' started last Monday with 5.3m viewers, but sunk to 3.4m three days later -- half-a-million below ITV's 10pm slot average.
It clawed back half-a-million viewers on Thursday, but fell to 3.7m on Friday night amid rumours it could be set for the chop from prime time with bookmaker Ladbrokes quoting it as odds-on to be axed.
Last night, it pulled in a slightly more respectable 4m viewers or 20% audience share.
The reality show, which sees 12 D-list celebrities including nurse-turned-glamour-model Abi Titmuss and nightclub owner Fran Cosgrave ensconced on a Fijian island.
The show is scheduled to run for five weeks, but if viewers carry on deserting the show as they are, ITV may be forced to pull the primetime plug on the £15m show, like it did with 'Celebrity Wrestling' two weeks ago.
The BBC got the biggest draw over the weekend with the FA Cup Final pulling in 11.9m or 66% of viewers. The corporation also had success with the 'Eurovision Song Contest', which entertained 7.9m or 38% between 8pm and 11.20pm.
