The updated retail concept, which launches in September, will form the blueprint for the brand design of stores and concessions on a global basis.
Ian Caulder, creative director at Caulder Moore, said: "For this exciting new retail concept we'll be bringing to life Berghaus' innovative approach to the product, and the passion and trust that the brand inspires in its customers."
The announcement of the brand's first dedicated store forms part of a strategy to build the company into a global leader in the outdoor industry and coincides with preparations for its entry into the Japanese market.
In other news, Caulder Moore has appointed Colum Lowe as its new managing director. Lowe will be responsible for the day-to-day management and the development of business, allowing partners Ian Caulder and Irene Maguire to focus on client service and creativity.
Lowe said: "Caulder Moore is recognised as one of the UK's leading brand design agencies. Its raft of award-winning work and enviable client list speaks for itself and I'm thrilled to be charged with leading the future development of the business.
"My aim is to make the agency exemplary across the board - not only in terms of creative excellence and the work we deliver for clients but crucially also, the commercial running of the business."
Lowe joins Caulder Moore from NHS National Patient Safety Agency where he was head of design and human factors, working on practical measures to enhance patient safety.
In the last year Caulder Moore has worked on retail designs for women's fashion retailer Phase Eight, luxury footwear brand Gina and hairdresser Charles Worthington.
