Caulder Moore to create salon for Charles Worthington

LONDON - Charles Worthington London has appointed design agency Caulder Moore to create its new Covent Garden salon.

The interior design specialist has been briefed to create a "luxurious, indulgent interior" with an "intimate, personal atmosphere". Situated in a grade II listed site on Great Queen Street, the 4,000 square feet site is scheduled for completion in December this year.

Caulder Moore won the brief having designed Charles Worthington's flagship Percy Street salon in 1998.

Charles Worthington, the eponymous founder of the salon chain, said: "Caulder Moore really understood our vision. For this important new location, we've asked Caulder Moore to create a salon that adds a new and different dimension to the Charles Worthington experience by bringing the beautiful Georgian townhouse building to life to make clients feel even more spoiled and indulged."

Caulder Moore has also designed salons for stylists including Daniel Gavin, Daniel Hersheson and Steven Carey.

Ian Caulder, Caulder Moore's co-founder, said: "We're really excited to be working with Charles Worthington again on this new challenge to design a beautiful, commercially functioning salon that will deliver the superior level of service expected within the constraints of this stunning listed building."
