Tomorrow (30 October) will see the launch of BT Road to 2012 project - a collection of portraits of people who are playing a role in the London 2012 Games - at the National Portrait Gallery.

Then just before 9pm on Saturday (31 October) the BT Tower will be illuminated and a spectacular pyrotechnic display will light up the sky, with a big screen announcing the countdown to the Games.

BT is one of the key 2012 sponsors, paying for the role of "official communications services partner for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games".

The moment will be screened on The National Lottery Draw Show on BBC One.
