Quarterback crashes through a forest in children's book-inspired ad
Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton smashes his way through a treacherous forest, dodging falling trees and a sasquatch-type beast chasing him, in the latest ad from Under Armour’s "It comes from below" global campaign. Unlike past ads in the series that showcase star athletes like Michael Phelps pursuing excellence in true-to-life settings, this ad features a solitary Newtown practicing his sport in a dark, fantastical world as his mother narrates a passage from the children’s book "Watership Down." Like the rabbit in the children’s tale, Newton, the "prince with 1,000 enemies," overcomes all his obstacles to "never be destroyed." And he does it with a little help from Newton’s C1N line of Under Armour cleats.
