CACI is latest to launch online data cleansing

LONDON - CACI has joined the ranks of data companies offering online database cleaning with a product called DataACE.

It lets customers manage their own data at whatever time they want, via a secure website. It can be used to audit, clean and enrich data. Customers are charged only for results that they download.

The launch of DataACE follows that of companies such as: Experian with its Intact online data cleansing service; Data8, which launched Data8online in March; and Broadsystem's Broadata, which appeared the same month.

Tracy Weir, head of consumer marketing at CACI, said: "The DMA estimates that approximately 拢100m is wasted every year by companies mailing individuals who have moved. With response rates falling, it is imperative that marketing campaigns hit as many customers as possible so that precious marketing budget is not wasted on incorrectly addressed items."

CACI's system was developed by UK Changes.
