Broadsystem says Broadata will enable clients to manage their own data cleansing online, 24 hours a day, via a dedicated secure website.
The site will guide clients through the data cleansing and enhancement options and provide an immediate free report outlining the quality of the data, with a quote on the improvements that can be made.
Clients are only asked to pay if they choose to progress with the suppression or enhancement. The data processing can then begin immediately, with a full service run-off of 100,000 records possible within 15 minutes. Broadsystem claims this makes its new offering one of the fastest available.
The need for the service is underlined, according to Broadsystem, by rapidly decaying nature of much data, which becomes quickly out of date with more than 3m people moving home and roughly 600,000 dying each year.
Caroline Worboys, chief executive of Broadsystem, said: "It was obvious from these rates of decay and an increasing number of clients wanting a more immediate, cost-effective, accessible data processing solution, that an online service would be welcomed.
"We are expecting Broadata to prove very popular, particularly for those clients that are now carrying out event-driven marketing that requires a very fast turnaround. Broadata is proof of Broadsystem's continued innovation and commitment to our clients."
The service also matches on all the data available, which means that if there is information missing from records it is likely that the individual will be found. In addition, the reports are run on a cascade system so no record is matched twice.
