LONDON - British Eurosport has signed a deal to broadcast live and exclusive coverage of Italy's Serie A football league, making it the only UK channel to screen full matches from one of football's most dramatic and entertaining leagues.

British Eurosport will showcase the Italian league's top match live every Sunday at 7pm with highlights throughout the season.

Pierre-Jean Sebert, managing director of British Eurosport, said: "We felt there was something missing for football fans, so we're extremely excited to bring Europe's most refined, stylish and star-studded league back to the UK."

British Eurosport will continue its dedicated football coverage throughout

the year with UEFA Cup, Euro 2004 Qualifiers, Toulon tournament, Copa

Libertadores, UEFA youth and women's football, along with the channel's
