The events will run from 1 May until 30 September and will take place at a number of exclusive rooftop venues, including the Bussey Building in Peckham Rye and the Queen of Hoxton in Shoredtich.
More than 170 films will be screened as part of the event series, including new releases such as Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues and The Lego Movie, as well as The Graduate, Top Gun, Reservoir Dogs, Labyrinth and Casablanca.
British Airways cabin crew will be on-hand during the events to welcome guests and chaperone them to seats. Chef Simon Hulstone, who worked with the airline during the London 2012 Olympic Games, will be creating film-inspired popcorn for the event.
Abigail Comber, head of marketing at British Airways, said: "In-flight entertainment is such an important part of flying, and this is a fantastic way to celebrate film. We’re excited to partner with the Rooftop Film Club to bring a summer of movies to hundreds of film lovers."
Gerry Cottle, Rooftop Film Club founder, added: "The Rooftop Film Club in partnership with British Airways has something for everyone. Our big screen, high-quality wireless headphones and comfy chairs mean you can sit back, relax and experience film like never before.
"The luxury of being able to watch films under the stars in a completely unique urban environment appeals to our loyal fan base who love its exclusivity."
In 2013 Rooftop Film Club hosted more than 200 sold-out screenings.
