Enable Interactive has been asked to increase 's interactivity with younger audiences and download sales to help drive donations to the organisation's work.
, which campaigns to alleviate the suffering of children in war zones across the world, said the digital work helps the charity to raise the profile of its campaigns among young people.
The War Child Music website, which is expected to be revamped by the spring, allows visitors to download tracks from established artists, including Radiohead, the Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay, Feeder, Gorillaz and Keane, from a 7Digital-powered online music store.
Keane are partrons of War Child and have donated profits from their new single 'The Night Sky' to the charity.
All profits from download sales go towards War Child's projects, which include the reintegration into civilian life of child soldiers in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and providing education for street children in Iraq.
Enable Interactive, which worked on the revamp of the UK website, said the revamped website would feature a "fresh and edgy" look that provided visitors with "rich and valuable content" to engage users.
Darius Pocha, creative director at Enable Interactive, said: "We'll be using digital to build on the incredible connection [War Child Music] already have with their existing audience and helping that audience spread the word to their friends, families and peers."
