- Describe yourself in three words.
Organised, determined and ever so slightly bossy (is that seven?).
- What would you be if you weren't a brand manager?
A professional cook with my own delicatessen/cooking school.
- What advice would you give someone starting their marketing career?
Passion and 100% belief in your brand. You're a fraud without it.
- What was your first job?
Fundraising assistant at Opera North.
- What was your finest hour?
Completing the London Marathon - quite a feat for a childhood asthmatic.
- What is your greatest ambition?
To live the good life and be as green-fingered and self-sufficient as possible (with some rare-breed animals thrown in for good measure).
- If you were a brand what would you be and why?
It has to be Firefly; so much of who we all are here at Firefly comes out in the brand. The ability to influence the future of the company and the products we make is part of the beauty of working in a small, entrepreneurial team.
- What is your favourite marketing campaign?
It is not strictly a campaign, but I cry with laughter at the 'Mary always dreamed of being a horse' ad from Muller (part of the 'Thank you cows' campaign).
- What is your all-time favourite slogan?
'Think different.'
- Do you have a marketing mentor?
No, but I'd like one - any offers?
- What marketing trend is dominating your job at the moment?
Twitter, Facebook and all things 'social'.
- What hobbies do you have?
Cooking, gardening, sport and drinking wine.
- If you weren't you, who would you be?
Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan. Who wouldn't want to kiss Edward Cullen?
- What makes you angry?
Short-sighted buyers with no interest in their category.
- What is your favourite pub?
The Windmill in Linton, Yorkshire. It's tiny, quaint and very English (like all good pubs).
- If you had three wishes, what would they be?
Health, happiness and a magic carpet.
- What have been your best and worst freebies?
The best was tickets to the Serpentine Gallery summer party, the worst a personalised desk calendar with my name spelled incorrectly.
