A bomb threat has shut down the Taste of London Festival on its first day of opening.
According to police officers on site at Regents Park, the threat was issued via telephone this afternoon.
The entire festival has been sectioned-off and everyone has been evacuated from the site.
There is no word yet as to when it might reopen.
The three-day event sees famous chefs from the capital’s finest restaurants serve up their signature dishes and share their kitchen secrets while around 150 food and drink producers dish out the samples.
