The deal gives BMW UK the rights to use data from the Market Location Directory Database for the car manufacturer's telematics service, ConnectedDrive.
The information on the service is refreshed via monthly feeds, ensuring that all contacts, business details and locations are up to date.
For BMW drivers, the partnership means that they will be able to request information from a BMW service centre using the Information Plus system. The service centre will then send the driver the address and telephone details of local businesses, such as petrol stations, hotels and restaurants.
The gathered information can then be used to plan a route using the BMW's in-car sat-nav and/or the telephone numbers can be transferred via Bluetooth to the in-car telephone system.
Patrick Bradshaw, director of Market Location, said: "With more and more emphasis on convenience and demand, the power of immediate local knowledge cannot be underestimated.
"We are delighted that BMW UK has recognised us as a company that can provide the high level of accuracy needed for their customers."
