Blue Sheep launches B2B Data Direct division

LONDON - Blue Sheep has launched B2B Data Direct as its sister bureau division, responsible for all data sales of its UK Business Universe business data set.

The new arm will also handle all data planning, preparation and small analysis activity for its clients' tactical marketing campaigns.

B2B Data Direct will be headed by John Wright, commercial director, who will report directly to Richard Lee, managing director of Blue Sheep.

The UK Business Universe uses a contact centric approach, housing over 5.3m contacts on 4.6m sites.

Wright said: "B2B Data Direct will continue to provide our clients with the superb service they have received since we launched 21 years ago.

"Holding 5.3m records in the UK Business Universe we are able to offer the market superb coverage of the business community.

"In addition we are now in a position to offer this data online which will ensure an instant service."

Lee added: "B2B Data Direct will deliver a transactional approach, with Blue Sheep taking a more consultative approach with clients. Ultimately this ensures we offer greater flexibility and choice on the level of the journey clients take with us at any given time."
