Businesstracker is Blue Sheep's own fully researched database of 1.3m workplace records.
Iain Lovatt, joint managing director at Blue Sheep, said: "We receive so many calls from charities for donations that it is impossible to support them all. We decided that we could help by offering free use of data, which charities may be able to use in order to boost corporate giving. We feel that this will be of far greater value to charities than a donation."
The data being offered from Businesstracker to charities include company name, address and telephone number.
"There is no limit to the number of records that we will supply, although we will recommend a maximum of between 50,000 and 100,000 records for each campaign to be effective," Lovatt added.
Blue Sheep launched the service at the beginning of last year. The company develops data strategies with its clients to help them improve their business performance and obtain better results from their sales and marketing efforts.
