Archive and new Warner Bros shows, such as Smallville and Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles, will be available online the day after broadcast in the UK. Other programmes such as Friends and Gossip Girl, will be available on a download to own basis.
The agreement with Sony Pictures will make a selection of Sony films available through blinkbox, as well as edited versions of classic Sony Pictures TV shows such as Bewitched and Charlie’s Angels.
The 20th Century Fox films to be available on blinkbox.com include Juno, Moulin Rouge, Ice Age and Fantastic Four.
Jamie McCabe, executive vice-president, worldwide PPV, VoD & EST, 20th Century Fox, said the company continues to look for innovative outlets such as blinkbox that increase the availability and awareness of Fox content to consumers.
