More than 150 of the UK’s most innovative public and private sector businesses have completed a two-stage rigorous Dragon’s Den-style judging process and more than 100 multidisciplinary business leaders have chosen this year’s winners of the National Business Awards.
Finalists include The Co-operative Group, Whitbread, The Berkeley Group, HMV Group and RBS International.
Commenting on the quality and quantity of entries, chairmain of judges Philip Forrest said: "The economic climate continues to present UK businesses with an unprecedented challenge and it is therefore encouraging that the entries in this year’s National Business Awards have shown no drop in quality or performance."
