The aims to capture more traffic than its current audience of TV viewers by becoming a central hub for authoritative, credible advice and information for anyone interested in local and national crime prevention.

Created by Pancentric Digital, the site will also support the BBC Crimewatch Roadshow, a series of live daily shows that will be filmed across the UK during June.

The website features exclusive continent giving forensic insight into selected cases, reconstructions and CCTV footage aired on the TV show, as well as updates in the status of cases.

Pancentric has also introduced a ‘solved' section featuring historic cases and updates on recent convictions.
