Attik promotes Lim to associate creative director

LONDON - Global creative agency Attik has promoted art director Ron Lim to the role of associate creative director at its San Francisco agency.

Lim joined Attik, a Leeds-based agency with an offshoot in San Francisco, as art director earlier this year to work on Scion and AOL/Moviefone projects.

As part of FCB's team, he scooped the London International Advertising and One Show Awards for his work on brands such as Amazon.com and Taco Bell.

Prior to FCB, Lim spent almost two years in the senior art director role with San Francisco's McCann Erickson, working on B2B and B2C campaigns such as Microsoft.

Simon Needham, Attik's co-founder and group creative director, said: "Our campaign work tends to be anything but straightforward and Ron gets that. He's contemporary in the way he thinks and has a thorough understanding of youth culture."

Lim said: "I joined Attik because I liked the idea of working for a small independent shop.

"My entire career has been spent at agencies owned by holding companies, and I relished the chance to actually work with the founder of the company."

Previously, Lim worked for Foote, Cone & Belding in San Francisco.
