Asda "scarecrow" by VCCP

Asda has released a TV spot, created by VCCP, that is almost identical to its Christmas ad. It features a row of sad-looking scarecrows in a field next to a bigger and better-dressed one. The voiceover explains that the first three scarecrows represent other supermarkets (and share the same colour schemes as Morrisons, Tesco and Sainsbury’s) while the superior one symbolises Asda. The spot ends with the line: "You’re better off at Asda." It was written by Jonathan Thake, art directed by Mark Orbine and directed by Alan Friel through Park Village.
