
Kinnear has been promoted from the role of head of marketing, having been with Arsenal for five years. He was previously at Procter & Gamble and headed sports and youth marketing at Coca-Cola Great Britain.
Kinnear has been responsible for Arsenal's domestic and international marketing activities, including the move to the Emirates Stadium.
The club is also hiring four other senior executives – a retail director, a business development analyst, a head of global partnership development, and a head of marketing.
Arsenal aims to improve its marketing around membership activities in order to expand the 190,000 supporters officially registered with the club.
In August the club appointed veteran US sports marketer Tom Fox as its chief commercial officer. Fox's CV includes stints with the National Basketball Assocation (NBA), Nike and Gatorade.
