Airbnb aims to showcase the authentic side of London living by taking over the townhouse, transforming each room to offer a series of surprise experiences hosted by London locals. The five-storey townhouse in East London has been transformed to welcome travellers from all over the world to encourage them to live like a local.
Experiences will include tasting home-grown beers to discovering the work of local artists.
The townhouse, which opens today (16 June) and remains open for four days, will see consumers led through the experiences by Airbnb hosts and special guest ambassadors, who include spoken word star James Massiah, foodies Lily Cai and Daisy Cecil and Bradley Zero, resident club DJ and broadcaster.
