The third Open will offer visionary talks, company updates, music, art and food over three days from 17-19 November and will be attended by Airbnb users – both guests and hosts.
The event enables the Airbnb community to come together in one place and also offers hosts, in particular, to make connect with each other and learn tips for successful hosting, as well as hearing the latest news from the company, with important product updates.
This year the brand will expand the scope of the event, welcoming both hosts and guests from its community, as well as local LA residents to explore the future of travel and hospitality.
American Express will stage the ‘Airbnb Open Spotlight: Los Angeles’ as a closing celebration for the event, featuring headlining musical talent.
In 2015, the festival took place in Paris and attracted more than 5,000 hosts from 110 countries.
Airbnb co-founder and CEO Brian Chesky said: "This year's Airbnb Open will be a seminal moment for our community as we announce our vision for the future of hosting and travel.
"As the first ever global festival of hosting, the Open will bring together hosts and guests from across the globe in one of the most creative places in the world, Los Angeles. The city will be an open canvas for them to explore for three days of education, connection and celebration."
