Agent Provocateur appoints Blowfish for online account

LONDON - Agent Provocateur has appointed online marketing agency Blowfish Digital to its online planning and buying account.

The win includes planning and buying digital media for brand and response campaigns, including Valentine's Day activity, and UK and US search campaigns.

Blowfish previously worked with the lingerie brand executing the mobile download component of its successful "Four dreams of Miss X" campaign, which starred Kate Moss and was directed by 'Leaving Los Vegas' and 'Internal Affairs' director Mike Figgis.

The mobile download campaign gave users an exclusive preview of the third film in the series, which is released on January 14.

The agency's first brief for Agent Provocateur is to extend the UK mobile download activity to the US market.

Blowfish will be responsible for developing innovative strategies to promote the films and the e-commerce offering.

Paula Roberts, head of e-commerce at Agent Provocateur, said the appointment was a result of the campaign's success.

Roberts said: "Blowfish Digital impressed us with innovative concepts which have delivered outstanding results. Revenue expectations have been surpassed enabling us to extend and diversify activity as part of our ongoing strategy."

Farhad Koodoruth, managing director of Blowfish Digital, said: "We are delighted with the success of the initial phase of the Agent Provocateur campaign and are looking forward to taking it to the next level."
