Digital choice: Agent Provocateur 'Dreams of Miss X'

A scantily clad Kate Moss will always get my attention, so when I received an email promising me a chance to witness this, I wasted no time in opening it.

Ever keen, I signed up online to Club AP to be allowed to watch the films. I would have thought this would put people off, but maybe the lure of a 'meeting' with Kate will pull the punters through. In any case, I thought it must be worth it.

Well it isn't - it's a faff and a pain, with lots of promise but no delivery. The films are well shot, but technically it is too complex, and that is coming from someone who works in the digital field.

The website features four short movies depicting the 'Dreams of Miss X', which are being launched over a period of time. The first film was constantly interrupted and the second (just released) would not play at all, even though I tested the site on a range of laptop and desktop machines. Using my mobile was equally futile, and a waste of the steep £3 fee; charging for promotional content is a brave move.

In short, it features some good ideas and films, but the package is poorly put together. There are too many barriers to attract the casual viewer, and the delivery is not up to scratch. Agency: Coull.
