'Big Brother' won the prime time slot for Channel 4 on Friday night attracting 3.6m viewers and a 17.5% share of the 9pm to 10pm audience as people tuned in to see Luke evicted from the house and Rex's girlfriend Nicole preparing to enter as a new housemate. Including Channel 4+1 it managed 3.8m viewers and an 18.5% share.

'Agatha Christie's Poirot', starring David Suchet, secured ITV 3.2m viewers and a 16.2% share of the 9pm-11pm audience.
It beat the first episode of the new series of BBC Two drama 'The Tudors', which attracted 2.3m viewers and an 11.2% share of the 9pm-10pm audience.
