ActionAid creates viral to push PoverTee Day

LONDON - ActionAid has created a viral designed to appeal to a fresh audience, raise awareness of its upcoming PoverTee Day and boost donations.

ActionAid creates viral to push PoverTee Day

The tongue-in-cheek clip, which has been created by Red Bee Media, celebrates each donor as the greatest humanitarian in the world. It includes shots of screaming crowds with banners bearing the donor's name, a personalised town sign and Barack Obama cheering the donor on.

Povertee Day is the new fundraising day for ActionAid, during which people are being encouraged to wear a T-shirt and donate £2 to the international development charity's work with those living in poverty.
