3 begins drive for Messenger

LONDON - Mobile operator 3 is launching a marketing campaign for Windows Live Messenger, which enables users to send and receive instant messages for free via their mobiles.

3 begins drive for Messenger

The drive, which breaks on 7 September, forms part of the mobile operator's 'Changing Mobile Forever' strategy. 3 is focusing heavily on mobile internet services and positioning itself as a challenger brand with consumer-friendly products.

The ad campaign, which spans radio, press, outdoor and online, is the second created for 3 by agency Glue. It won the mobile operator's £23m account in the UK late last year.
