Zurich Connect hires Experian to build single customer view for multi-channel campaigns

LONDON - Zurich Connect, the direct insurance brand launched by Zurich in July, has appointed Experian to provide technology and consultancy for multi-channel marketing campaigns.

Gordon Wilmott, Zurich Connect's head of data, analytics & planning, said the firm wanted to "transform our use of data for marketing" and "exploit the capabilities it provides via voice, email and post to our UK-based customers and prospects".

Experian's Elements database and campaign management tool will provide a single customer and prospect view across the Zurich Connect web-based home and motor insurance brand in the UK.

The tool encompasses software, data and analytics to help create a series of integrated campaigns.

Experian's data strategy and analytical teams will also provide data procurement and data management services.

Zurich with TV ads featuring the voices of comedian Alexander Armstrong and actor Marc Warren. The ads were created by Publicis Dialog, with below-the-line activity, including direct mail, door drop and online ads, created by OgilvyOne.
