The creator of the winning moniker will be treated to one of the venue's legendary Treasure Chest cocktails this evening. They are currently called Blipz, but that is just a working title.
Young Guns managing director Dominic Lyons said: "We have been working on this band for the past 16 months. They are what I would describe as an epic rock band like Muse or U2."
Rather than advertise in relevant press or online portals for band members, the act was brought together via Young Gun's list of contacts.
Lyons added: "The guitarist was discovered by Elton John's management team, while the singer was found by our finance director."
As part of their showcase tonight the band will be doing a five-song set that will include four original numbers and a cover of U2's Where the Streets Have No Name.
Tomorrow Event will exclusively reveal the name of the band.
Anyone wishing to head down to tonight's event can mention Young Guns on the door and pay £5 to enter. The event starts at 9pm and the band go on stage from 9.30pm to 10pm.
